Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of the items my students use come from home because 80% is recycle materials to make the projects we need for our 6 planners that we do throughout the year. The community where I teach is a low income area where as a great percentage are Limited English Proficient (LEP) with Spanish being the language spoken at home. The items I am requesting are the Tri-fold poster boards where all their information is glued and presented to the class or parents. I also am requesting colorful markers that can be used to color the poster and border strips to decorate the trifold. My goal for all the projects is for my students to be ready to have communication skills, presentation skills and have to be high school and college ready presenters.
