My Project
The tools that I am requesting will help my students learn everyday skills that they will need throughout their lives. My plan is for us is to use them to help keep the school landscape looking nice.
I have really been surprised that many of my students do not know how to use outdoor tools like shovels, rakes and brooms.
As the physical education teacher, I would love to teach them how to use these everyday tools that we assume everyone knows how to use. My grandparents taught me how to use these tools in their garden. Many of my students do not have an opportunity to learn this skill, so I'd like to be able to fill the gap.
Our school has a lot of really good kids that are eager to learn and love to help as much as possible. This would also be a great community service project for us as well.
