My students need 3 new microphone cables and 3 adjustable microphone stands.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Porter's classroom raised $551
This project is fully funded
I teach elementary music in 2 portable classrooms at 2 different schools and service 550 students in one of the most economically depressed counties in Washington State.
The music department was scheduled to get money from the school district next year as part of a 7-year rotation of funding for items like this, but it was canceled because of funding cuts.
One of my schools has bad microphone cables that only work part of the time. Also, my elementary students are all different heights and they struggle to make a microphone stand move up and down to their level. 200 4th graders and the 5th grade choir use this equipment to perform. It's frustrating when the sound system quits working in the middle of a program or a talent show.
It would be wonderful to have new cables to channel crisp, clear, uninterrupted sound to our audiences and microphone stands that are easily adjustable for every student. Your help will ensure that my students will be able to step to the front of the stage with confidence, knowing that their voice will be projected clearly to their parents and peers. Thank you so much for your support! :)
