What to Print With?

My students need copy paper and toner for our classroom printer. These supplies will allow us to continue to use our printer the rest of the school year.

My Students

Our school is in the heart of Brooklyn, NY.

It includes students from Pre-K to eighth grade, and it is a melting pot of descendants from the West Indies.

The school is in a high poverty area, and about 95% of the students in the school receive free lunch. There are 18 energetic, three and four-year-old children in my class but there are not a lot of funds to enrich these students' education because of the budget cuts and although our families give us support they can't always help out financially.

My Project

Thanks to previous project I've had funded my class has a laptop, iPads and a wonderful printer. What we don't have is the paper and toner refills to print our work.

The copy paper and printer toner will allow my students to print the things they create on the laptop or iPads.

In pre-kindergarten the students don't use technology for word procedure but they do express their thoughts and creativity by drawing on them. Without paper and ink I can't give them copies of this work or print copies for their portfolio and not being able to do that makes them and me sad.
