My Students
My classroom consists of students in seventh through twelfth grade, Special Education classroom. Our school is located on a small, rural military installation in Dugway, Utah. Our building houses students from military families, as well as civilians from neighboring areas.
We welcome kids from all over and enjoy getting the opportunity to teach our military personnel's children over the years, and give back to them just a small token of appreciation for what they do for our country.
My Project
Covid-19 has hit the students of our nation very hard. Parents have gone without work and money to get supplies for their students. I normally buy all this stuff out of pocket to help my students. Getting this funding will help alleviate the financial burden on my families.
My students are absolutely amazing and such hard workers, I supply all materials for my students in all their classrooms such as paper, pencils, folders, erasers, binders to hold work in, and organizational strategies for other classrooms. I am asked daily for these materials as well as for snacks to hold them over to lunchtime. Too often, I think students go without a meal in the morning, so I always try to have some small snacks on hand, such as granola bars and trail mix. I am asking for help with that as well.
