What is Science Without Life??

Help me give my students the equipment to create a Lake Tanganyika shell dweller aquarium in order to observe the unique adaptations and behaviors of these tiny fish.

My Project

Science is a fantastic subject that allows to learn about all of the different things that impact their lives. However, it can be challenging for some students to envision and understand concepts without seeing something in real life. As a result, it is important for the teacher to find ways to bring science to life.

Having living plants and animals in the classroom can be a fantastic and important learning opportunity for students.

These living organisms can help turn a classroom into a center for observing, questioning, data collecting, and developing a respect for living things.

The goal for this project is to create a Lake Tanganyika aquarium filled with shell dwellers. The shell dweller aquarium will allow students to observe the unique adaptations and behaviors that these tiny fish have developed over time. Students will also be able to witness how these fish grow and expand their populations over time.
