My students need a kitchen where they can play and act like moms and adults and families just like I did when was a child.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a special education kindergarten teacher at a high needs elementary school. Kindergaten is changing, there is no emphasis on children using their imagination, communicating and playing. Something has to be done to ensure that children can still act like children, not adults!
Administrators have a very tight budget and they can not afford to spend money on things other then books. Children need to play, act, and communicate with each other in order to grow into successful adults.
My students need this kitchen because they need a chance to act out the roles or their parents, communicate with each other and use there imagination. This kitchen would help the students grow and get ready for their school career.
This kitchen set is so important for my students. They need the materials necessary to use their imagination, act, communicate and have fun. Please help us by donating to this project.
