I work in a school in North Alabama; the majority of our students are middle to low income kids.

Our students range from low to upper class. Our kids love to have fun and learn.

We want to give every kid the opportunity the learn more, and be good at what they do. We want them to leave feeling successful in everything that they do.

My Project

Computer programming is beginning to be a thriving asset these days. The more you know about coding it opens the door to so much more in life. We have learning about coding through website called Scratch. This website is awesome. It helps to teach my students the different ways of coding through block building. So I am asking for these books to help guide them beyond my knowledge of coding.

It is extremely important for my students to try learning something new in the classroom.

With the computer light kits my students will be learning coding through a different approach. As of right now, we are learning through the Piper Computer Kits and they are AMAZING! So I wanted to find something different to add to the challenge. My students are always wanting to learn something new in classroom, and I am up for the challenge to teach them.
