What I Want to Be When I Grow Up

Help me give my students career costume for dramatic play. This will help students be able to pretend to what they may want to be when they grow up. The costumes are composed of different community helpers.

My Project

My students from Kindergarten to 1st grade with Autism will enjoy the career costume set. We do not have a lot of materials in the classroom that will help them play pretend.

This will help them play pretend to be one of the community helpers that we see around us.

It will help them connect the job of the community helper to the costume that they will be wearing and use their imagination and social skills playing with friends. This will also enhance and help them develop their socia-emotional skills.
