My students need bottle rocket launchers, launch pads, and foot pumps to study force and motion.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ingle's classroom raised $272

My Students
My students are the entirety of our school. I serve all the students at our school in the discipline of science. My students come to me ready to learn, explore, and experiment to become critical thinkers.
Part of my school is Title I, which means they come from high poverty and may not have access to materials and resources at home.
Part of my school is Magnet, which means their parents may not live close by, but have chosen to send their child here because of the opportunities and experiences they can be a part of at our school.
My Project
My project request for bottle rocket launchers, launch pad, and foot pump will help my students understand force, motion and the relationship between them, explain how factors such as gravity, friction, and change in mass affect the motion of objects and help them infer the motion of objects in terms of how far they travel in a certain amount of time and the direction in which they travel.
This project will allow my students to measure the amount of time it takes to shoot a rocket into the air and compare the amount of water needed to shoot it the highest.
They will use graphs, timers, and science journals to record their findings.
My students will be learning about force, motion, collaboration, and have a lot of fun working in teams together in the out of doors.
