Our students are full of ideas, and they love to express themselves in drawing, speaking, and writing. We would like to have some ink cartridges for our printer so we can make copies of their beautiful artwork and print resources that help show vocabulary, question prompts, and print pictures of them working and learning during our units of study. As we learn and play in our classroom, we take hundreds of pictures during the year, and we want to share the pictures with our students and their families, and our school community. We create hallway displays of pictures showing our students doing STEM activities and working in learning centers. We take pictures showing our students during independent reading times and small group learning times. We make classbooks to show families what we learn during our studies of buildings, pets, insects, trees, reduce, reuse and recycle, exercise, balls, and other topics. We love that we can remind students of different activities we have completed during the year because we have evidence of it with our pictures. When our students ask questions about new things, we can usually Google search it to help clarify what they want to know or help build on what they know. It is really helpful when we have ink and can print the pictures for them.
