My Students
My class is full of motivated and excited 21st century learners. The students are inquisitive and eager to find the answers to their questions. We are fortunate to have 1:1 Chromebooks, and try to incorporate them throughout our curriculum in as many creative ways as possible. We believe in growth mindset and love learning from our mistakes.
My creative class enjoys collaborating through project based learning, and finding new ways to demonstrate their knowledge.
We are a diverse class made up of English Learners, and students of various academic levels.
My Project
My students have had a busy year of learning and exploring and are in need of more supplies to help show this! The class is full of aspiring mathematicians who like real-world applications, and cannot wait to measure all the angles around our school using new protractors. I also find value in frequent and immediate feedback to guide my teaching, which is why I would love new mini whiteboards to quickly check-in on my students’ understanding in all different subjects areas.
My students are 21st century, hands-on learners with a growth mindset, who also appreciate and value fine arts.
My class needs help restocking our art supplies because some knowledge cannot simply be shown with just paper and pencil. Every day I encourage them to challenge their neurons and develop new ways to share their thinking. New markers and scissors can help us do just that!
