The pressure on teenage learners has never been higher, and my students are definitely feeling the crunch. They hold themselves to extremely high standards, constantly working to buck the stereotypes about "city kids." As their teacher, I work hard to provide them with the support they need to live up to their own expectations.

Our students have district-issued Chromebooks, but it is difficult to keep them charged when they are in use all day. The power strips I'm requesting will allow my students to charge their Chromebooks during my class, helping to relieve the anxieties they carry with them- "Will my laptop have enough power? Will my teachers let me plugin? Will there be an open outlet?" In my room, with your help, the answer can be "YES!" The additional gaffers tape will allow me to wrangle cords and keep the room safe and beautiful, exactly the type of environment my students deserve.
