My Project

Our school strives to build a positive culture where every student feels loved and valued. We strive for excellence using Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS is a proactive approach schools use to improve safety and promote positive behavior. The focus of PBIS is prevention, not punishment. Every month I plan a special PBIS event for the classroom. Students will use these patches to decorate hats during their PBIS reward.

PBIS events encourage my students to feel good about themselves and make superior choices, help others, be good citizens, model the eagle way, and earn good grades.

Students will receive their caps and have the opportunity to decorate them with special adhesive patches. This activity will allow them to showcase their creativity and personal style, fostering a sense of individuality and self-expression. In addition, the collaborative effort involved in designing the patches will promote teamwork and a shared sense of ownership among the students. This hands-on project will provide a platform for students to bond over their shared creativity, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the school community.
