This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds and home lives. It sometimes affects them socially and emotionally. They mostly come from financially challenging homes. Some come to school hungry and rely on school meals for nourishment. Many of my students need to feel I am there for them which is something I strive to provide for them.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning at home. Our learning platform is Seesaw. They need the stylus to touch their screen to write on their assignments. This tool will help make things more ledgible. Also, sometimes when I ask them to draw on paper and show me, they do not have paper readily available. The white boards and markers will help when we do interactive activities. This will eliminate the need for paper.
The stylus is like a pen they can use to write on their touch screen chrome books and the white boards and markers will help eliminate paper waste.
