This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the vibrant and diverse community of my school, small groups provide targeted support for Emergent Bilinguals, fostering their ability to read on grade-level while simultaneously advancing their English language skills. Our students deserve the tools necessary to succeed.

Comfortable seating plays a crucial role in creating a conducive learning environment for our middle and high school students.

I am requesting flexible seating options to promote better posture, reduce physical discomfort, and alleviate any potential barriers to concentration. When students are comfortable, they are more likely to engage in discussions, participate actively, and feel more at ease throughout the lesson. With your generosity, this environment will foster a positive atmosphere where my students will feel supported and empowered to implement varied strategies for English language acquisition tailored to their individual student needs.
