I am a pre-k teacher in a major urban area. We are a community school, and I would like for my students to know what it is like to be a part of the community. Our students are very curious, and we want them to increase their curiosity.
My students love to be in the dramatic play area of my classroom because they love to use their imagination, and they want to use their real life experiences in the classroom.
My Project
My students will be able to use their imaginations when pretending to engage in real life situations that happen to either them or their families on a regular basis.
My students love to be in the dramatic play area, and they will be able to use these additional materials however they would like.
As they play along with their peers, those who do not use the materials on a regular basis will begin to find out what to use and how to use them. My students will be excited about using their imagination to the fullest potential.
