This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students make many choices through pointing and eye gaze throughout the day. They read materials with adult assistance that are supported by images on the page. They write sentences using picture selections to create a cohesive sentence. They can do all these things with black and white images. However, it is so much easier to identify the difference between images when they are in color.

As the Pleasantville movie stated, " We're supposed to be in color!" Color enriches our lives, motivates us to want to look, and helps us all see the difference from one image to another.

Help give my students the opportunity to see in color with a color printer and cartridges.
