We're Stepping Into Reading!

My students need 1-5 copies each of 16 "Stepping into Reading" book titles.

Greetings, I am a first grade teacher in an urban school. Currently I have 16 boys and girls in my classroom. My students often face many different challenges such as academic problems and behavior problems. I am always challenged to find ways to ensure my kids have enough books that they enjoy reading as well as books that can be connected to our curriculum. With the Step Into Reading series not only and I able to find books that are appropriate to my kids varying reading levels but there are also books that we can use at learning stations that will connect to our social studies curriculum. Some of the selected books are about Thomas the Tank, the Bernstein Bears, and Famous Americans such as Harriett Tubman or Christopher Columbus. Thank you for supporting our classroom by giving my kids new and exciting books to be found in our classroom library as well as providing us with books to support our curriculum.
