My Project

This coming fall, we're starting an introductory sewing class for 8th graders at our school. Throughout the year, these teens will learn basic stitches, design and create their own plushies, accessories, and clothing items, and learn practical skills like how to mend and alter clothing.

We are *sew* excited to equip our students with skills and give them a new outlet for their creativity, but also know we'll need new supplies and equipment to make this class happen.

Because of devastating budget cuts, our school is relying on the scrappiness of educators and the generosity of our community to get the supplies our students need to learn to sew. Would you be willing to support our students by helping to fund sewing notions, fabric, and organizational equipment for our sewing class?
