My Project

At our school, we have many students who would benefit from extra social-emotional support. Between going to school in the age of covid, poverty, family issues, and more, our students have a lot working against them, and we want to help them grow into their best selves.

These Slumberkins will help our students to develop affirmations and coping skills to handle specific social emotional skills like mindfulness, self-esteem and positive relationships, growth mindset, stress relief, family changes, building connections, self-acceptance, and positive self-talk.

These skills are imperative for helping our students grow into well-rounded people who can identify, embrace, and learn from their emotions.

Created by a family therapist and a special education teacher, Slumberkins are specifically targeted to help children become caring, confident, and resilient. They are excellent teaching tools!
