it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking donations for supplies to support my Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students at a Title 1 school. Our diverse classroom is full of eager young learners who thrive with the right resources. As part of our upcoming unit on animals, I want to provide my students with the unforgettable experience of hatching chicks in our classroom.
With your support, we can bring this hands-on learning opportunity to life through an incubator, heat lamps, and food for the chicks.
These materials will allow students to observe the life cycle in real time, fostering curiosity, empathy, and a deeper understanding of living things. Many of my students have limited access to nature and science experiences outside of school. By hatching chicks together, students will develop important science skills such as observation, prediction, and asking questions—all while learning responsibility and care for living creatures. This project will bring joy and wonder to our classroom and create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for helping make learning meaningful and magical for my TK students!
