Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my school community, families depend on schools to teach reading and fundamentals. Our kiddos enter the classroom eager to learn. With daily uplifting songs and chants to put us all in a positive learning mood while eating the first meal of the day, confidence and motivation is boosted. Now we need creative ways to keep students fully engaged while learning from home. In the Spring of 2020, the students received textbooks to continue learning but now with distance learning extending to the new school year, we need additional fun resources. My students would benefit from a few extra resources to keep them fully engaged through our zoom lessons.
My first graders would love to get their hands on resources to actively engage in learning from home.
We will no longer be able to share limited resources. I would love for everyone of my students to receive their very own extra resources. My kiddos don't currently have the resources in their homes to create an academic environment. Please help build academic nooks and routines for my first grade kiddos at home.
My Project
My little first graders will learn how to GO GREEN in their early lives by using whiteboard kits at home. Our kits will be used to show student learning on zoom. Since we'll continue to learn from home, students will receive textbooks needed but this project will give my kiddos extra cool resources to keep them engaged and motivated.

Dry/Erase board kits will keep students actively engaged in their learning while zooming with their teacher and classmates. They'll get to display their problem solving strategies, writing, drawings, and more! Dry/Erase board kits will make it easier to revise their work in seconds. Help me keep my students active, creative, and motivated during this pandemic. Give my kiddos a fun learning boost!
