We're Fact Finders!

My students need 15 high-interest non-fiction texts, including a World Almanac, "Blood and Goo and Boogers Too: A Heart-Pounding Pop-Up Guide to the Circulatory and Respiratory Systems" and "Mummies Unwrapped!".

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Pope's classroom raised $314

This project is fully funded

Did you know that a cricket's ears are on its knees? Or that a horned lizard squirts blood out of its eyes? My fourth grade students love reading quirky facts and how things work.

When my students first enter the room in the morning, they select the texts that they want to read for the day. Non-fiction texts are definitely their favorite! The students are transitioning from "learning how to read" to "reading to learn" and are eager to find out facts about everything!

I've selected 15 high interest non-fiction texts to add to our classroom library. Mummies, dinosaurs, the human body, animal facts, baseball history, an almanac... The kids will race to our library to be the first to read these new books!

By donating, you will be helping my students become life-long learners. Your donation will help quench my students' thirst for knowledge. You never know, by donating, you may help one of my students become the next Jeopardy star (look out Ken Jennings)!
