We're Desperate For Ink!

Help me give my students color ink for our classroom printer so I can print customized lessons for my students.

My Students

My classroom is a wonderful place filled with hardworking students and staff. Every day, I fall just a little bit more in love with their amazing hearts and smiles. Each child has an individual education plan to help them make progress on goals in functional academics, behavior, life skills, communication, and functional life skills.

My students are full of curiosity, energy, and incredible potential.

We focus on the positive and celebrate every success that they achieve. Each day I do my best to make sure that they have the necessary tools to succeed, but it takes a lot of equipment and materials to help meet their unique needs.

With the help of DonorsChoose.org, I am able to provide unique and engaging materials to help my students, who experience a variety of disabilities, overcome their challenges and let their abilities shine through.

My Project

Today I got the dreaded message on my printer that said 2 of the 3 color ink cartridges are low. This means that when the color ink runs out, I can no longer use my printer, even for black and white documents.

Printing in colored ink means that my students are more engaged in learning and more willing to complete customized activities.

This is so important to my students who experience Autism and other disabilities.

Each day I create new activities for my students who all have different goals for reading, writing, math, communication and social skills. Everything is customized to what each student needs to acquire the skills that will help them be productive and independent individuals when they grow up.
