Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One set of CPO Crazy Traits equipment is good for groups of three to five students. It helps to engage our students and boost their understanding of key Science concepts.

This STEM equipment helps students understand the following topics: adaptation, biodiversity, dominant traits, environmental influence, genetic disorders, genetic engineering, inheritance, natural selection, pedigrees, Punnett squares, recessive traits, and reproduction.

Teachers can use three levels of lab sheets that students use alongside the equipment. Each level is established for a specific learning level. This will help guarantee that both our low- and high-level students succeed.

With the equipment, students build a unique creature with varying traits. After building the creatures, students play a special environment card game that enables students to understand the influence of environmental traits in a population.

The CPO Crazy Traits equipment also meets multiple NGSS performance expectations.
