This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a product and teacher of a high poverty/ low socio-economic environment, I want what is best for my students and community. My students face hardship everyday of their lives. My students are courageous, strong, kind, and intelligent It is up to me to make sure that the students are not met with blockades and boundaries while working toward a better tomorrow. My goal is to help put an end to the perpetual cycle that my students find themselves in.

My Project

Many of my students struggle with the fact that they have no access to computers and printers outside of school. With the donation of a classroom printer students will be able to type and print assignments both before and after school without worrying about their lack of access. I want the students to know that no matter their circumstance they can still be successful. During the past two years at my current location, I have had a difficult time printing for students who sorely needed. If this project is funded, I will be able to help so many students both in and outside of my class. In addition, this all in one printer will help to assist my student council students.
