Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are living in a different world than the one that many of us are used to. Education is key to teaching our students that help is available to understand and learn coping skills.
Sadly, some children are facing unkind comments and behaviors from their classmates because of transgender issues, racism, and other concerns.
The requested SEL books will be used by our school counselor, social worker, and other staff members to help teach all of our students coping skills and to help gain understanding of these very sensitive issues.
The balloons, balloon stands, table covers/runners, and decorations will be used during graduation and event ceremonies. The fidget toys will be given to students who need manipulatives to relieve stress.
