My students live in a vibrant arts community and love to sing, dance, and play instruments. My classroom is a place for children to explore the different sounds in their world and the roles they can play in music making.
My students are ages 4-10.
They live in the Harlem and Washington Heights communities in upper Manhattan. They love music and learning about the world around them. Our school provides a loving environment for students to express themselves and to achieve their goals.
My Project
These instruments will help students develop their executive functioning skills. They will have to think about rhythm, harmony, and working together as an ensemble as they use these Bass bars to accompany their classmates singing or playing other instruments.
These instruments will help my students get excited about music class and performances.
When students have a successful performance, they feel proud of themselves. My students deserve to shine in my classroom and on the stage!
