This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students deserve a safe, welcoming space where they can feel heard, supported, and comfortable. A couch in my wellness office would help create a calming, home-like environment that encourages open conversation and emotional healing. Many of my students face daily challenges and need a place to decompress and connect.
This couch and chair would not only provide physical comfort, but also symbolize the care and stability they might not always experience elsewhere.
