This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I absolutely love being an Early Childhood Teacher! I teach in a low-income, high-poverty school district in South Texas. At my campus, we strive on a daily basis to provide each student with the opportunity to reach his or her potential by working together to provide the necessary values and skills needed to help them succeed individually or as a group.

My preschoolers love storytime, exploring their surroundings, pretend play, and hands-on activities the most!

At four and five years of age, they're full of raw emotions that I treasure, nurture, and protect. I enjoy watching them discover new things as they play to learn, but most of all, being part of their growth fills me with pride and touches my heart.

My Project

These items are mostly for the Health, Wellness and Safety of my students. The face masks are always great to have on hand to replace as needed. The aromatherapy is just a little something we all need this school year... both kids and adults. The soothing scent can calm all who enter and prepare us to tackle our day. Playdoh is such a soothing activity that also serves as a fantasctic fine motor activity, plus the students love it!!!

Health and Wellness is a top priority, especially as we come back from the Winter Break!
