My Project

Hello! I am a school social worker and I am creating a wellness classroom that is comforting, safe, and welcoming to all students who utilize it throughout the school day. We utilize toys, space, and snacks to support our kids through mind and body to regulate and return to the classroom.

I see approximately 25-45 students each day and support their mental and physical well-being by providing additional resources such as snacks and water to help meet their baseline needs of hunger throughout the day, outside of school meals.

Some of our kiddos have particular food requirements therefore, opt out of school meals and easily become dysregulated in the classroom. With your support, you are providing food and water resources to continue to help our kiddos learn and grow. Thank you so much for your support!
