“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”
I will be teaching about engineering, weather and climate, earth systems, animal life, plant cells and more.
I have eager 6, 7 and 8 graders looking to learn and complete cool hands-on projects.
The environment at our school is welcoming. It really does want to make you learn more. So when I see my students thrive in this setting, it forces me to make a personal and improved classroom for my students. I will be teaching about engineering, weather and climate, organism cells and more.
In previous years, I've held fundraisers for lab coats and other science lab desks. In fact, these lab coats did indeed enhance the learning experience of my students during presentations and experiments. Some of my students wanted to take the lab coats home. The lab coats were and still are a big hit in my class and I look forward to using them in the future, but my students need to work on desks that feel and look like lab desks.
However, we currently have mismatched furniture and irreparable desks all in need of an update. Last year, I frequently called maintenance to repair our tables, but after many uses, the desks are still wobbly. These new Learniture desks are built to last, have minimal parts, and are guaranteed to be a good long-term investment with priceless returns.
We have procured quite a few of these science lab partner desks but not enough to accommodate all students, so the class currently has a mix of old and new equipment. Will you partner with me to give these students the basics they need to access new content to help them flourish?
