This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine stepping into a classroom for the very first time. It's a big world full of new faces, sights, and sounds. Many of our bilingual Spanish kindergarteners are not only in school for the first time but in this country for the first time, this experience sets the tone for their entire educational journey and their new home.

I am dedicated to creating a welcoming, warm, and engaging learning environment that will make these young learners feel safe, loved, and excited about school.

It’s imperative that their classroom is clean and full of warm decorations and hands-on toys like Magna-Tiles and LEGO blocks. Through our use of play, songs, and learning activities my students will make amazing growth in the first year of their learning career.

An air purifier in a kindergarten classroom is essential. It significantly improves air quality by removing pollutants, allergens, and microorganisms, reducing the risk of respiratory issues and infections among young children. Many children have allergies to dust and pollen, and an air purifier minimizes these allergens, creating a more comfortable environment. Cleaner air enhances cognitive functions and concentration levels, enabling children to focus better and perform academically. Additionally, air purifiers eliminate unpleasant odors from various sources, such as art supplies and snacks, making the classroom more pleasant. Overall, cleaner air contributes to the well-being of both children and teachers, leading to fewer sick days and more consistent learning.

Together, we can foster a sense of belonging and a love for learning from day one. Join us in making a lasting impact on our kindergartners' lives and creating a safe and clean space for our young learners to thrive. Your generosity will help us build a strong foundation for their future success.
