This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to create a more comfortable and welcoming environment for new English learners, particularly those with diverse and challenging backgrounds.

We plan to introduce a vibrant carpet with geometric shapes and color names into our classroom.

This carpet will offer flexible seating for students. It will be used as a central space for group activities, storytime, and interactive lessons, all aimed at enhancing both comfort and learning.

Moreover, it will provide a safe and nurturing environment for newcomers who may not have experienced school before.
