Help me give my students chair seat sacks with name holders, STEM storage bins, and Kleenex so my students can keep their materials clean and organized while being prepared for learning daily.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Have you ever been unprepared for something in your life? Well, we just received notice that thousands of migrants are being housed next to our school. What does this mean?! Our school will be receiving more students which increases our daily need for basic supplies.
We are an inclusive school and love inviting new families from all over to the world to be part of our class family!
It is important that all students feel prepared and have the necessary essentials to begin their learning journey!
My students need seat sacks with name holders so they can learn one another's names and build connections. Having names written down will be a huge help for our native speakers that are new to learning English. Additionally, we need more STEM storage bins to help keep supplies organized and teach students how to be prepared for any learning challenge. Lastly, my students need Kleenex to keep our classroom learning space clean and free of germs.
Receiving these supplies prior to the start of the school year will help to set up our classroom environment so we can be inclusive to all and welcome new students into our class family with open arms!
