This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to provide a more welcoming environment in the class. My students often work in groups and as they are working, I would love for them to be able to listen to music. My STEM Math class involves a lot of group work. They need to solve challenges and create projects, so listening to music could help them get in a creative zone and bring the stress level down. This also helps students find some things in common when they are working together as they listen to their favorite tunes.

Lights help the classroom become more comfortable.

It allows to not have all of the lights turned on and this will let them work in a stress free zone!
