Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This year, I am teaching a wonderful group of 30 fourth graders. They are sweet and kind, and they love coming to school to see their friends and learn more every day. My school campus is a very positive and upbeat place where everyone works as a team and where the students are the heart of our decisions. All of the staff are happy to come to work to see the students learn and grow daily. I could not ask to teach at a better campus!
My Project
I have been teaching remotely this year and have not had children in my classroom physically. I haven't needed to put an emphasis on the set up of my classroom this year because of that. The physical appearance of my classroom is dull--the bulletin boards have faded along with everything that was on them because they have been up for 2 years in a row now.
Please help me give my students a warm, welcoming classroom environment.
With this new classroom refresh, I will be able to keep the bulletin boards up for at least 2 years if not more. I chose fadeless paper for the bulletin boards along with a new dry erase calendar and a few other decor items to make the classroom inviting.
