Welcome to the Raider Nation!

Help me give my students a warm welcome. Have you ever moved schools after the start of the year? SCARY! I want to let them know they are part of the Raider Nation no matter when they come!

My Project

Think back to being a teenager. Think about how hard it is to navigate the social landscape. Now imagine (or maybe you have experienced) changing schools mid-year.

A brand new environment, brand new people, teachers, EVERYTHING.

We will make sure that new students feel welcomed and are a Raider the minute they walk to class. The things we asked for from you were crowdsourced by current students (food, fun sunglasses), we will also add a list of clubs and their meeting places, sports info, a raider sticker, and finally a red t-shirt.

Belonging is so important for everyone, but especially teenagers. Please help us make this transition a little easier for our students so they can feel welcomed and ready to learn!
