My students need all the necessary tools to start the first grade ready to learn! Notebooks, ink, folders, color pencils, copy paper and other tools are the key to our success.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
First grade is such an important year for students' lives. The right tools in the classroom will allow them to get started on the right foot. It's all about learning, exploring, making mistakes and having fun!
Our class is one of those classes in which you get the opportunity to see the beauty of diversity.
We are a Dual Language classroom in which we encourage bilingualism and cultural immersion. If you come to our classroom you will find an amazing group of learners that are eager to explore the world around them, while developing not only their academic skills but their social skills.
My Project
First grade is such a fun grade! It is also a grade in which a lot of important learning happens. From developing writing skills to reading and math, every day is an opportunity to learn and grow. To optimize this learning, students need access to appropriate learning tools that become their everyday anchors. Notebooks, pencils, paper, glue, color pencils, and ink are materials that might seem insignificant but can make a great difference in children's learning.
When children have the appropriate learning tools, we are helping them to succeed.
