Help me give my students a chance to learn where their food comes from and give intercity students the chance to learn how to grow their own food.

My Project

Many of the students in my Self Contained SPED classroom do not know where their food comes from or how it is grown. With these plant growing system supplies, I plan on introducing my Intercity kids to the enriching experiences of growing their own food. Not only will they be able to learn important science concepts through hands on learning lessons, I will also be able to incorporate outside of the box lessons in ELA, Math, and Social Studies. Plus students will benefit from learning where their food comes from and the importance of proper nutrition. Please help me grow healthier kids.
