This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year kindergarten teacher, creating a warm and welcoming classroom is essential to help young learners feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Incorporating flexible seating and inclusive materials can significantly enhance this environment.

Flexible seating provides a variety of seating choices that allow children to move, shift, and find the most comfortable position for learning.

I just want to try to have things for all my students and the way they may learn. We each learn and grow differently, but for my students I want them to feel accepted either way despite any differences.
