Help me give my students a new beginning and comfy floor seats in their first year of school!

My Project

I'm returning to kindergarten after having taught in Fifth Grade for years! I am basically starting from scratch, but I couldn't be more excited about the move! I can't wait to go back to the foundation of education in a child's life. I am thrilled about the opportunity to show kids the wonders of learning and hopefully inspire the world of reading through everything that we do in class.

I hope to plant a seed of a love of learning within the kids.

The crayons, headphones, books and other tools that I'm requesting within the class will help me to get the kids excited about learning, every single day. The flexible seats and center games will allow the kids to have a quiet place within the room to cuddle up with a stuffed animal and practice their reading skills with a cuddly friend or with another classmate. The place the chairs will be the "reading nook" for the students. They will also be used with the "station games" for the students. The flexible seating will also be used when a student with disabilities in my classroom needs the support. I hope to show them that learning can be as cool as Spiderman, a favorite superhero.

The games that I am requesting will help in the foundational skills of learning in Math, Science, and Reading as I'm hoping to set a learning environment filled with love, comfort, and fun. All of the materials will be used to build a strong and solid foundation that I hope will light a match of excitement in learning! The Social-Emotional tools will help me to foster an environment of love for our class family and for themselves. Thank you so much!
