Hello, my name is Stephanie and I teach head start in Southwest Virginia! I want to give my students basic supplies such as crayons, Play-Doh and folders. I would also like to give them a small gift as a welcome to our classroom this fall. The students I teach are three to five years old. I have selected a folder for back-and-forth communication and so students will be able to keep their work organized. The crayons will be used daily in the classroom, both for writing and drawing. The Play-Doh will be used to support their fine motor skills and to reinforce letter and number recognition. The keychains will be labeled with each student's name to be hung on their book bags, so there will not be confusion of who it belongs to and to let everyone know which classroom they belong to.
