Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been teaching for over 12 years and every new year I am as excited as I was my very first year! Teaching has always been my passion! Next year I will be the teacher of a student with a particular need. In order to meet his needs, I was asked to move classrooms. With no hesitation I agreed, however in the process of moving several of my items have gone missing, and with them were my dear motivational posters.

I strongly believe that one of the keys to my student success is daily reminders of how special they are, how unique they are and how they are capable of doing anything they set their minds too.

I truly believe that using positive affirmations not only will the students believe it but they will eventually become it!

Reminding the students of how strong, smart and capable they can be if they decide to believe it is life changing.

I want to be able to make my room as positive, as welcoming and as safe as possible. I wish my students all, especially my one, to remember this experience in this classroom as one of their best years.
