This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Starting a new grade can be overwhelming to many young students. Transitioning into a new room with a new teacher and many unfamiliar faces can create anxiety. That's no way to begin a new school year. By creating a warm and inviting experience I hope to calm and welcome students in a few weeks.
Welcome bags including school supplies and snacks are a great way to say, "You're welcome here!" Please help me in providing these to the incoming third grade learners in my class this year. With your help we can start the year off with nothing but smiles.
