Welcome Back In-Person!

Help me give my students transition to in-person classes with writing practice and reading practice! It's also time to get moving with Drum Fit!

My Students

At our Title I, low-income school, we have adopted some wonderful programs for helping transitional families. Many of our students come from low-income​ families. Our school has a thriving backpack buddy program, holiday assistance program, and clothes closet to help make ends meet. We want to help these families continue to succeed.

Many of my students have trouble getting basic school supplies.

Many of our families struggle to meet their basic needs. They are doing their best to help their children succeed. Many of my students only have access to educational technology at school. They have difficulty finding school supplies which makes it difficult to complete their assignments. It also causes them stress when they are in class and unprepared.

My Project

In August, we will welcome back many of our students for the first time in over a year. We have missed them and are anticipating their return. Help me get ready. I want my classroom to be an inviting and comforting looking place. Help me to spruce it up a bit. My students will need help with practicing writing letters and comprehending what they have read in books. We all could use a little more movement so we will be using pool noodles to get moving with Drum Fit.

Help me welcome them back in style.
