This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom we have a variety of learning/sensory needs, especially since the pandemic. My preschoolers have made tremendous improvement thus far and I cannot be more happy for them, with that being said this is also many of my preschool special needs children first school experience, so they are still learning how to sit and attend to teacher-directed activities. I have noticed that when they are allowed to have a weighted item, it helps them focus and attend better.
That is why I am requesting Astronaut Weighted Vests, that way it feels more natural to them and they will not be as distracted while learning how to sit and attend to a teacher-directed activity.
I am also requesting some address labels, so we can utilize for a variety of activities throughout our classroom.
