My Project
Please help my second graders with some sensory-weighted blankets, to improve overall regulation throughout the academic school day. I have a few students who cannot stay focused during lessons and having the extra help of a weighted blanket would be amazing! My students require various strategies, learning methods, and learning options to meet each of their needs throughout the school day within the classroom. At the same time, we need some classroom basics like, hand sanitizer, sharpener, and tissues for the rest of the school year.
The weighted blankets will assist in helping the student remain calm and secure, and increase their focus.
The blankets can be used while seated to feel calm and secure as they transition between classes as well as activities. and the other materials for our every day basic needs.
