Weight Room Equipment Needed Track and Field Team

Help me give my students track and field athletes' weight room equipment is badly needed.

My Students

I work in a great community! We have much involvement with the students and the community. Whether it is celebrating academic success or it is cheering under the Friday night lights.

Our kids are very bright kids.

They work very hard both on the Football field as well as in the classroom. I also help with the track and field program. We have a variety of students from special needs to advance placement students.

My Project

Due to Covid, our track and field team didn't get a budget for the year. As a result, we need to replace some weight room equipment but are having a difficult time doing so.

Our track and field team needs to replace some older weight room equipment that is not safe to use.

The benches we are trying to replace are wobbly, and we are trying to replace the wobbly benches with sturdy benches. Our box jumps our jumpers use sometimes cut our athletes with the sharp corner. We are trying to get a softbox jump to not hurt our athletes. Finally, we are also trying to get dip attachments for our athletes as well as we only have one dip station in our school.

It is challenging to try and get the track and field team the needed weight room equipment for the team with such limited resources this year.
